You pay after processing — only for what you keep · files deleted after 24 hours

For artists who record their own songs

Your stems, mixed and mastered to the song you pick.

Balance, tone, loudness and the lift into every chorus follow your reference. Then you see what to fix in your stems next time.

You pay after processing, only for what you keep · 30 seconds before and after, and your top finding, first · no account

An artist with headphones mixing a song at a home-studio desk at night

Recorded the song. Stuck on the mix.

No time to learn mixing

You want the song out this month, not after a year of tutorials.

No budget for an engineer

A good mix costs hundreds to thousands per song. This costs from $9.

Burned by one-click mastering

Squashed, harsh, too loud — and no way to see what it did.

What makes it different.

Your song and the reference don't need the same structure or timing — we match verse to verse and chorus to chorus.

From your stems

Vocal, drums, bass and the rest are balanced against each other. Mastering alone can't lift a buried vocal.

Your reference is the target

No genre presets. Every part, in every section, follows the song you chose.

You learn what to fix

Where your stems are strong, where they fall short, and what to change at the source.

Plain math. No plugins to buy.

Every move on your stems is our own signal math — EQ, compression, reverb and limiting, each measured against your reference. No third-party plugins: no iZotope Ozone, no Waves, nothing else. Nothing to pay for, nothing to learn. The DAW recipe uses only the plugins that come with Logic Pro and Reaper.

It does

  • Mix your stems to your reference, section by section
  • Master to its loudness — never louder, never above −1 dBTP
  • Show every move, and what it couldn't do

It doesn't

  • Replace a good engineer or a producer
  • Change the character of any instrument or voice
  • Repair clipping, room sound, timing or tuning

Good stems in, a good mix out. Weak stems in, a weak mix out.

Hear it work.

One of our own songs, 0:13–0:35. First the instrument tracks exactly as they were exported, then all ten tracks played together as they came in, then our mix, then the master — the same 22 seconds each time.

The tracks you upload

Dry, faders at 0 dB, nothing on them — the instruments that play in these 22 seconds, and all ten tracks together, unmixed.

  • Drums−26.1 LUFS
  • Bass guitar−27.3 LUFS
  • Rhythm guitar, left−21.1 LUFS
  • Rhythm guitar, right−20.0 LUFS
  • All tracks together, unmixed−16.7 LUFS

The mix — one file

Balance, tone, dynamics, width and room set to the reference, part by part. Not mastered: the peak sits at −6 dBFS.

  • The mix−25.1 LUFS

The master

The reference's loudness and tone: −10.6 LUFS here.

  • The master−10.6 LUFS

Every file plays as it is — the master is much louder than the tracks and the mix, so mind your volume. Reference: a commercial rock song, not played here.

Two records in — the one you love and your mix — and a new record out. Click the picture to go step by step.

Each part of your song is set so it sits the way it does in that record. Then the whole song is mastered — as loud and polished as the reference — and the new record turns gold: it's ready to download.

Your music stays yours: files deleted 24 hours after your last upload or run (no copy of the audio is kept), never used for training, all rights yours.

Try it with your song.

An independent project by musicians who would rather make music than spend weeks fighting a mix and a master. We have been making music ourselves for more than 20 years, and we built this so you can put your time into the creative part and still get a result you can show the world — without paying studio prices.

What should we do with your song?

Choose the processing. You hear the result first and pay after processing — only for what you keep.

Processing costs nothing. You pay after it, only if you keep the result.

    For artists

    Make the mix easy before you start it.

    A few habits while you record save days of picking sounds and tuning compressors — and get you a decent result in a predictable time.

      Still cheaper than an engineer

      And cheaper than the hours it takes to make a song sound release-ready on your own.

      For engineers & studios

      We built it for our own work.

      Now we offer the engine for commercial work, on separate terms — a subscription or another model that fits you. We like working with engineers and studios.

      Less time per track

      We believe it cuts the time a commercial track takes by a lot. What it delivers is a starting point for your own work and improvements.

      A Reaper project, ready to open

      By arrangement we deliver the result as a Reaper project: every move from the recipe, with the processed stems.

      API and cooperation

      Open to talking about working together, including an API for your own tools.

      PRIVACY POLICY

      Effective date: 1 November 2026

      Alikely is a service of {{LEGAL_NAME}}, {{LEGAL_ADDRESS}} ("we", "our", or "us"). {{LEGAL_NAME}} is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. We respect your privacy and your music. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Alikely, how we use it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.

      What we collect

      Files you upload. Your stems or your mix, the reference track, and the files we produce from them: the mix, the master, the report, the DAW recipe and processed stems. Also the song title you type, if you type one.

      Technical information.

      • Your IP address. We use it to limit free runs and to stop abuse. We store it only as a keyed, one-way hash, never in plain form.
      • A browser cookie (m2r_c). It holds a random identifier, so one free run per person can be enforced. It holds nothing else.
      • Usage events. For example, "result shown" or "preview played". They contain no file names, no audio and no access links.
      • Error reports. We use them to fix problems.

      In your browser only. A list of your recent jobs, so you can come back to a result after closing the tab. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.

      When you pay. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle collects your payment details and processes the payment under its own privacy notice. We never see or store your card details. From Paddle we receive your email address, your country, the transaction ID and the amount paid.

      Cookies during checkout. When the checkout opens, Paddle.js (Paddle's checkout script) may set its own cookies, under Paddle's privacy notice.

      When you write to us. Your email address and what you send us.

      How we use it

      We use this information to:

      • process your files and show you the result;
      • deliver the files you paid for;
      • enforce the one free run and prevent automated abuse. We use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-friendly human check;
      • find and fix errors, and understand how the service is used so we can improve it;
      • answer your questions;
      • comply with legal obligations.

      Legal bases. We process this information to perform our contract with you (delivering the service), for our legitimate interests (preventing abuse and fixing errors), and to meet our legal obligations (keeping records).

      We never use your audio to train models, and we do not sell your personal information.

      How long we keep it

      Your files. All files of a job, uploads and results, are deleted automatically 24 hours after the job's last activity. You can delete them sooner at any time with "Delete now". After deletion, we keep only a record without audio and without file names (dates, the service used and the outcome), for statistics.

      Who we share it with

      Only with service providers that help us run Alikely, under their own privacy commitments:

      • hosting;
      • Cloudflare (the human check);
      • Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record (when you pay);
      • email (when you write to us).

      We do not share your music with anyone else.

      International transfers

      Our servers and service providers may be located outside your country. Where the law requires it, we protect these transfers with safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

      Security

      • Transfer. Files travel over encrypted connections.
      • Access to a job. Only someone with that job's private link can open it. We store only a hash of that link's key.
      • Downloads. Download links are signed and expire after a short time.
      • Processing. Your files are processed on our servers and are not published anywhere.

      Your rights

      Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

      • access the personal information we hold about you;
      • correct inaccurate information;

      TERMS OF USE

      Effective date: 1 November 2026

      Alikely is a service of {{LEGAL_NAME}}, {{LEGAL_ADDRESS}} ("we", "our", or "us"). By using it, you agree to these Terms of Use.

      The service

      Alikely mixes and/or masters your song toward a reference song you choose, and reports what it changed and what to fix in your recordings. The processing is automatic. It does not replace a mixing or mastering engineer, and we do not promise any particular result.

      Your music and your rights

      What you upload. You may upload only material you own or have the right to use: your stems, your mix and your reference. The reference is used only to analyse it and to let you compare it with your result. It is never published, never played to anyone else, never shared; it can be played back only to you, in your browser, from your own file.

      What you keep. You keep all rights to your music and to the results. We claim no ownership. You give us only the permission we need to process your files and deliver the results to you.

      Responsibility. You are responsible for the content you upload.

      Your reference. You confirm that you obtained the reference file lawfully — for example, you bought it or downloaded it from a source that allowed you to — and that you may use it for this purpose. We do not check where a file comes from and cannot verify it. {{LEGAL_NAME}} is not responsible for files that were obtained unlawfully; that responsibility stays with the person who uploaded them. The reference is used only to measure its sound and for your own comparison. It is never published, never played to anyone else, never shared; it can be played back only to you, in your browser, from your own file. It is deleted with the job.

      Claims. If someone makes a claim against {{LEGAL_NAME}} because of a file you uploaded, you agree to cover the losses and reasonable costs that result, to the extent the law allows. If we learn that a file infringes someone's rights, we may delete the job and suspend access.

      Prices and payment

      Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

      • Processing comes first: you hear an excerpt of the result and pay afterwards, only for what you keep.
      • Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are one-off; there is no subscription.
      • Each person or browser has one free run. Further runs are paid before they start.
      • Prices are in USD and do not include tax. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies, depending on your country.
      • Payments and taxes are handled by Paddle under the Paddle Buyer Terms.
      • Once you have paid, the files are available to you straight away. At checkout you agree that delivery of this digital content starts immediately.
      • Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

      Downloading your files

      Files are deleted 24 hours after a job's last activity. Download what you need within that time; we cannot restore deleted files.

      Acceptable use

      You agree not to:

      • upload unlawful or infringing material;
      • try to get around the free-run limit, the payment or the human check;
      • use the service for fraud or spam;
      • interfere with the security of the service, or try to open jobs or data that are not yours;
      • overload, scrape or automate the service;
      • copy, reverse engineer or resell the service.

      We may suspend access when these terms are broken.

      Copyright complaints

      How to report. If you believe that material uploaded to Alikely infringes your copyright, email us at {{CONTACT_EMAIL}} with:

      • the work you believe is infringed;
      • where the material appears — the job link, if you know it;
      • a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder or the law, and that the information in your notice is accurate;
      • your name and contact details, and, if you act for the rights holder, a statement that you are authorised to do so.

      What we do. We remove or disable the job promptly and, where we can, tell the person who uploaded it.

      Repeat infringers. We suspend or terminate access for anyone who repeatedly uploads infringing material.

      Limitation of liability

      The service as it is. The service is provided "as is". We aim to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it is error-free or uninterrupted.

      Our liability. To the extent the law allows:

      • we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses;
      • our total liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid for it.

      REFUND POLICY

      Effective date: 1 November 2026

      Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders, and refunds are processed by Paddle.

      How to ask

      You can request a refund within 14 days of your purchase. Use the link in your receipt email, visit paddle.net, or write to us at {{CONTACT_EMAIL}} with your order number.

      When we refund

      We refund the purchase in full when:

      • the files were not delivered, or they cannot be downloaded or opened, and we could not fix this within 3 business days of your message;
      • the delivered files have a technical fault that we can confirm on our side — silence, heavy distortion, missing parts or the wrong song — and a free re-run did not fix it;
      • you were charged twice, or charged for something you did not receive.

      Before you buy

      Processing is free and you hear the result before you pay, so you decide with the sound in front of you. If the result is not what you hoped for, write to us first: we can explain what held the mix back, or give you a free re-run with another reference. A change of mind or a matter of taste after the files have been downloaded is not, by itself, a reason for a refund.

      Digital delivery

      Your files are available as soon as you pay. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you agree at checkout that delivery starts immediately, and you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal once the files are available to you, as described in the Paddle Buyer Terms. This does not affect your rights if the files are faulty.

      After a refund

      When a purchase is refunded, access to its files ends and they are deleted.

      Fair use

      We may decline a request that does not meet these conditions, for example when the files were downloaded and work as described, when there have been repeated refund requests, or when there are signs of fraud. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank: a dispute over a purchase delivered as described may lead to access being suspended.
